Not every traveler fits the standard pre-travel consult. This webinar from ISTM’s Pharmacists Professional Group covers three groups whose risks call for a tailored approach. Raana Sidky will explain what makes immunocompromised travelers vulnerable and how to reduce their risk of infectious disease while abroad. Sheila Seed will look at the age-related factors that raise health risks for older adult travelers. Jeff Goad will cover the health risks unique to college students studying abroad and the evidence-based pre-travel interventions that address them. PPG Chair Sherilyn Houle will moderate, and the session will close with a live Q&A with all three speakers. The webinar is open to all ISTM members and is aimed at pharmacists, physicians, nurses and other travel health professionals who want to give these travelers more confident, individualized advice. Register today to reserve your spot.
