To expand the reach of the its educational curriculum, ISTM has established the Learning @ ISTM site to capture all digital learning in one place. Sessions include the Travel Medicine Update and Review Course, video captured at past CISTMs, and webinars - all in topics relevant to travel medicine practitioners,
As a special bonus, the History of ISTM presentation given by Robert Steffen, Switzerland, during the Opening Ceremonies of the CISTM12 (2011) is available to everyone free of charge. Additionally, the Executive Board has voted to make all COVID-19 content complimentary. In both cases, login is required but are accessible to the free, Non-Member designation.
Modules can be ordered individually and are now available for viewing at your convenience for 12 months after initial purchase.
One of the highlight features of Learning @ ISTM is the ability to track continuing education credits, even if from non-ISTM sources. This is especially helpful to any members seeking recertification of their CTH® designation.
While all modules accessed on Learning @ ISTM will automatically be recorded on a learner's transcript, it is possible to upload the details and documentation for outside continuing education, even attendance at live events. All these features are available after log in at "My Dashboard" - select "Transcript / Achievements" to see a list of existing credits.
From there, you can also select "Add Additional Credits/Experience" and complete the fields to upload new, non-ISTM learning credits.
