The ISTM Executive Board recently announced in Travel Medicine News that ISTM is seeking IRS approval for converting from a 501c6 to a 501c3 status under the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax code. The 501c3 status better reflects the activities of the ISTM and will allow the Society to grow and develop in exciting ways.

With the newly proposed tax status, significant updates have been made to the ISTM Bylaws. In full transparency to members, the updated Bylaws are linked below in two versions (1) newly updated Bylaws with edits and (2) newly updated Bylaws clean version (presented without tracked changes for legibility).
