Summary:

Recommendations of the yellow fever vaccine presents unique challenges when considering vulnerable populations such as the older adult, immunocompromised individuals and children. For the older adult, age related decline in immune function may impact vaccine efficacy and safety. Immunocompromised individuals face increased risk of adverse reactions due to their weakened immune systems. In children, the vaccine’s safety profile and immune response may differ from adults, requiring tailored dosing strategies. Addressing these challenges requires a nuanced approach, considering individual health status, risk factors and available health status, risk factors and available alternatives to ensure safe and effective vaccines strategies. Join us to meet our experts in the field with Case studies and interactive panel discussion.
